Rock and Roll Jive

The last dance was a rock and roll jive by Clarice and Jess. I thought they did a good job, but perhaps not as good as I was expecting as this was in Jess' wheelhouse. Clarice was impressive and did a great job. My problem with Jess was clear in this performance. He has good quick feet, even I can tell that. Therefore, he has to know that. Yet when Nigel complimented his kicks he put on a big surprised face. What is surprising about that- enough with the faces guy. Just dance. Another semi-related question that I though of during the rehearsal was regarding wardrobe. Do all dancers wear v-neck t-shirts? I ask because I have never seen a dancer wearing a normal style t-shirt.
