Whitney and Chehon perform a Contemporary piece by Stacey Tookey

How glad are we that the judges saved these two incredible dancers last week!  This is a stunning performance by both of them.  Stacey Tookey's choreography was beautiful and left me wanting more.  The opening catch that occurred at the music transition was dramatically jaw dropping.  Whitney left ballroom behind and transformed into a technically trained contemporary dancer in this performance.  Chehon was an outstanding partner and had a chance to show off his contemporary prowess.  This was the comeback they needed after last week's devastation!

On another note... I loved the dramatic darkness of the opening and felt like the lighting transitioned too drastically when the tempo picked up.  Too bright!  It compromised the artistry of the performance in my opinion.
