Sasha and Alexander perform a Contemporary piece by Dee Caspary

Sasha is definitely getting hooked up. It is only week 3 and this is the second time that she has gotten to do contemporary!

Dee put together a stunning piece of choreography to start the show. I loved his use the piano as both a prop and piece of scenery. I gasped when Alexander pulled Sasha across and off the top of the piano. However, the intensity broke for me when Sasha missed her footing the next time she approached the piano. I think Alexander placed her down from the lift awkwardly and she was not able to get her feet placed correctly. She recovered well, but it was enough to break the spirit of the piece for me. I can't believe none of the judges mentioned this misstep in their critiques.

Sasha's elevation in her leaps is pretty breathtaking and Alexander's body lines are impressive as well.
