The opening number started off strong and was very interesting. When I saw the canes I thought it might be a Wade Robson piece, but when the music started and movement began I knew it was Sonya's work. I was a bit disappointed by the middle of the piece. The choreography took on a slower tempo and the dynamic was lost until the full group came back together at the end.
There were some really cool moments, but I don't think that Sonya was able to reach her full potential with this piece. I will commend her on her concept and styling though.
